We had a wonderful dinner here. The staff John and Philip were exceptional. The food, unbelievable. Can't rate it highly enough, every requirement taken care of without asking or hesitation. Very friendly with our 14 month old and 12 year old. We will return on our next trip to Alvor Kid-friendliness: These fellas are brilliant with kids. Not so sure about O Touro de Alvor. We just ordered hamburgers and I've had better in Alvor. They were also sort of luke warm when we got them. The restaurant was only half full and yet customers seemed to be constantly pulling staff for items they were waiting for. What I'd say is, if you have a list of restaurants you'd like to visit while in Alvor then I'd have O Touro De Alvor on the backup list. Wouldn't say avoid at all costs but as I said, the hamburger was mediocre. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €25–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Steaks wonderful. Dissatisfied with Crab and Squid starters. Staff indifferent to our comments. Would not return in an hurry.
