After seeing Japan Kanji Museum & Library, it may be a good idea to visit this restaurant. Japanese cuisine under the direction of the popular chef is great at this place. Trying tasty english meat, broth and scallops is a nice experience here.
The courteous staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Fast service is something that visitors note in their reviews. Prices are found affordable here. Wagyu Volcano OAGARI was one of my favourite food stops in Kyoto. The Wagyu Volcano bowl looked incredible and tasted even better — the beef was beautifully marbled, super tender, and literally melted in my mouth. I loved breaking the egg yolk over the wagyu and then finishing it with the warm dashi broth, which turned the dish into something comforting and rich without being heavy. The restaurant has a cozy vibe and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It’s a fun, indulgent meal that feels special but still relaxed. Went to try the “volcano wagyu” and certainty did not disappoint. We tried multiple options such as the wagyu bowl with rice and volcano and both were excellent, there was no wait in line. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking
