Nice cinema, tried the Isense, it was good, but after I tried it, I wouldn't pay the extra again for it again. But you could tell the difference, but it wasn't good enough to want to do it every visit.

Myself and my partner went to the ODEON “Luxe” Edinburgh West to watch One Love. The movie was alright 8/10 but the experience was terrible. It began at the start when booking the tickets, went to the counter used a £25 voucher and £15 for popcorn with 2 medium slushes, which the assistant didn’t even let us get a better deal with a bag for sweets, even on mention. On paying I told the server to bin my voucher with the response to “keep it encase you need to get a refund” myself and my partner thought this was strange but carried on through to the film. We head into the cinema, empty with just one other couple, head up to the back and instantly hear rustling noises, we didn’t really pay much attention at the time watching the 30 minute adverts enjoying our popcorn. Mid way through the movie I had my legs up on the seats to see a shadow from underneath my seat passing the LEDs, I was a little worried at this point but didn’t panic too much until seeing a mouse scurry down the sides of the seats in front of me, with my partner also catching one with his torch. Not only did we miss the end of the film, but the usher who came in towards the end watched us squirm due to the mice, seen us with our torches on and didn’t even check if we were okay, or what was going on until we walked down to leave, mentioning the mice for him to say “how would I know”. We mentioned to the same server on leaving about the mice and although he apologised him and the other assistant were both silent knowing themselves we were right. The couple who were also in the cinema with us came out saying they had heard scurrying through the whole movie but didn’t see any, this is disgusting to think I ate and sat next to mice here. It is obvious all the staff in this cinema already know about this problem it is just disappointing from an Odeon “luxe” cinema which needs shut down and pest controlled.
