Absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Ohana in Hakone. Just a charming little walk from our retreat, this place was packed with locals,always a good sign. The sashimi was unreal and incredibly fresh, delicate, and bursting with flavor. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy with a subtle sweetness. What really stood out was the atmosphere, warm, authentic, and unpretentious, and the service was honestly better than most starred restaurants I’ve visited. Ohana is a hidden gem and an absolute must if you’re anywhere near Hakone. Five stars, no question. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000
