Excellent coffee, just like the ones in Melbourne. We also had iced Matcha and and apple pie. So yummy! The staff were lovely and friendly. ごちそさまでした. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ¥1–1,000

Exceptional coffee, beautiful space OTAS is outstanding. I stopped in for hōjicha and baked cheesecake before walking through snow to explore Kanazawa Castle and the gardens, then returned for a double espresso — and I’m very glad I did. The hōjicha was creamy and deeply comforting, with complex smoky flavours. The espresso was exceptional — the best in Kanazawa and easily the best I’ve had in Japan. The interior is sleek, modern, and elegant with a classic European feel, and genuinely comfortable. Service was impeccable throughout — warm, friendly, and delivered with a smile (and even a giggle). A must-visit in Kanazawa. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
