Was very excited to try this place, but the food was overall disappointing. Everything we ordered needed a few extra minutes in the fryer... and the food was bland. The potato seemed not washed/rinsed and wasn't cooked through. And the hushpuppies are overly sweet and have what my husband calls a "fortune cookie" flavor. I give 3 stars because the service was good and the shrimp and grits were good. We probably won't be back though. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have been living in the Lexington south carolina for 10 years I have not consider the south southern home cook food until I stopped in Oak Grove Fish House , who ever the cook is keep it up you are doing I done good job. I will be back with my family and just for the food, the service was very polite and knew what they were doing. Thank you for treating me with respect and human being . I really enjoyed the catfish stew.
