I don’t understand the other bad comments. Of course the restaurant is targeted towards tourists however it’s very good. Cappuccino tasted great and the food did too. The service was extremely friendly and efficient. Nothing to complain about. Perfect for a quick lunch after the temple. Price per person: Rs 2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I recently dined at the Oak Ray Restaurant in Kandy and must say it is an excellent place to dine if you are visiting Kandy Temple and City. The restaurant is conveniently located very close to the temple, which makes it the perfect place to refresh after the temple visit. The prices at the Oak Ray restaurant are very reasonable and this made the experience even more enjoyable. You can enjoy great food at affordable prices. The staff was very courteous and welcoming. They were well-versed with the menu and helped us choose our meals. The only small drawback is that the location of the restaurant is not visible much. But, for people who are aware of the locality, it is not an issue. Overall, I had a very positive experience at the Oak Ray Restaurant in Kandy. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty meal at a reasonable price while on a visit to Kandy. The kindness of the staff and the great food make it a worthwhile dining experience.
