Top tier service, fine atmosphere. They offer dry aged beef cuts as well. The reason the food did not receive 5 stars is that every steak at our table was under-cooked according to each diners request. The Brussels were overdone and meat under seasoned. The Au Poivre sauce had no peppercorns nor flavor of pepper or cognac. I am happy to pay the money for this type of dining experience, but expect way more from the chef. Vegetarian options: It's a steak house Kid-friendliness: Don't bring the Littles. I've been to a few high end steakhouses and without a doubt this had to be the worst experience I've had at a "high end steakhouse." For starters-this was the worst filet mignon I've ever had, the absolute WORST. What's even more insulting is they're charging $60 for that garbage. Not only was my filet like chewing on a piece of rubber my buddy's filet was horrible as well. "I make a better steak at home." to my response...exactly! 2. Every dish that came out was room temperature including all the filets. 3. The sides were nothing to write home about-we ordered the brussel sprouts and whipped potatoes (hard to muck up mashed potatoes), I've had better sprouts at another resturant for a lot less $. 4. Service was very slow, it took a VERY long time for the food to come out as well as the drinks we were ordering. And we're like the place was busy but not crazy busy what's taking so long? Needless to say, I was VERY disapointed being my first time at Oak Steakhouse and will probably be my last. It did not live up to my expectations at all. Highly disappointed and if I could give a 1/2 star I would. If you want a high end steak experience this is not your place. Would not recommend Oak-Southpark to anyone. Utter failure Oak.
