All I can say is: wow. I've tried every eel avocado roll and every sushi restaurant in Erie. Oba serves, BY FAR, the best eel avocado roll in Erie. It was actually perfect. If you like eel, you HAVE to try it! I'd say Oba Sushi is possibly even the best sushi spot in Erie overall. The service was super fast, the waitress was very sweet, and the atmosphere was homely and welcoming. We parked, ordered, ate, and left within an hour because service was so quick! Overall, absolutely amazing! You've definitely made a new customer out of me. I would recommend this spot to any sushi lover and I can't wait to come back! If I could make one request to the owners: PLEASE make an Eel Lover special roll! The talent of your chefs and the quality of your eel are simply too great to not have one! I've had sushi literally all over the world and these guys are a cut above anything I've had. The rice was tender and delicate. The fish was premium. And the accoutrements; sauces, roe and garnish were flavorful and added texture to the exact right amount. Highly impressive and aesthetic presentation along with measured and tasteful service from seating to departure. 6 stars here. Go out of your way to find this place. You won't regret it! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

This place is so good, we really enjoyed sitting in the little restaurant and enjoying the ambiance. It is decorated so cheerfully. The service and the food were awesome! We really enjoyed the Sushi. Definitely a great find. Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
