We enjoyed a great meal here. Adjacent to the larger, flashier restaurants behind the famous Church of Bones. We had bread, olives, melted cheese with oregano. Then the Caracóis and a Veal pica Pau for 2. Each dish was delicious. The service was friendly and the owner genuinely cared that we enjoyed our meal. A bottle of Vino Verde, a couple of iced teas, 2 coffees, 2 brandies. The whole meal about €75. Would not hesitate to return. P.S sorry we ate every morsel and forgot to take photos. A perfect little place for a delicious bite and a cold beer. We had a bifana sandwich, a prego sandwich, and snails (Caracóis). Everything was delicious but the bifana sandwich was especially good, very tender and flavorful. It was my first time having snails but I found that they were the perfect snack to pair with an ice cold beer. The service was very fast and friendly. I would recommend avoiding the more touristy spots nearby and coming here instead for what feels like a much more authentic experience. Great value too.
