Hi I am writing this as someone who is obssessed with OB . I love it, Love the services, the food and everything . But the serviced and food received from OB mall of the North was so sub par - sub standard .. I understand it is festive and busy, but to have to show a manager, an insect found in my food, then he says, no its the black things found in the mussels . I told him, this is an ant in my food, this is after having found a strand hair in the butter, I let that go, cause I thought this was beyond them, as that butter is packaged outside of the OB . I ordered a platter for two, a side salad , The food comp bread was cold and hard, then the platter came, the food was cold, I was with two teenagers who were already complaining about being hungry .. I sent the food to back to be warmed it took over 10 mins, as I was about to eat, I find an ant in my mussles. The manager, Trinity I think, says to me, should he bring me fresh mussle? this coming from a platter ? i had lost my appetite already , I was so defeated, he came with the other mussles, like no apologies, its like he was doing me a favour . My cappuccino was also cold, all i wanted to do was pay and leave . this is after being on the road for 2 hours, and still needing to be fresh . I paid R600 for this experience, and to say I am disappointed Service: Dine in Price per person: R 150–200 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Family Platter

The food was good but the waitress was a NO! she didn't introduce herself, she seemed impatient, I understood she has a strong personality but she was not being a nice person at all and if it was my first time at Ocean basket mall of the north I definitely wouldn't go back there, she had no smile on her face, she was not helpful at all when deciding what to have, all she said was "you're confusing me", and so my day got ruined from there.
