Amazing value at $19.50 for lunch. I thought the food was excellent, the menu was mainly Chinese food and sushi. I was disappointed that the tray labeled boiled crab legs had coconut shrimp instead. There was salt and pepper crabs which was nice but had a strong deep fried flavor. I'm not sure if there is a different menu for dinner time but it is more expensive. Unlimited soft drinks were $3 and I didn't get one but they had a pretty good selection of beers at the front for $6. My favorite thing was the BBQ ribs. They come on little skewers and go great with some rice. Also if you want plain steamed rice instead of fried rice it's not on the buffet line, there's a big rice cooker against the wall. First time eating here, for my birthday the other day. I do appreciate the service, the restaurant is spacious and very clean. I was surprised with the items. They do have a good selection, they have things like 'American Chinese' dishes like orange chicken, coconut shrimp, and fried rice; they have a good selection of fresh sushi, barbecue ribs, varieties of steamed buns (sweet like taro, savory like pork and chicken), jiao zi (pot stickers), and a decent salad bar. Also have fresh fruit, pudding, and hibachi too for those that want that. The seafood selection was excellent. Some of the seafood dishes include: garlic shrimp with corn (my favorite shrimp item here!), fried shrimp, octopus, baked salmon, sushi varieties, baked mussels, clams, oysters, crab and lobster, prawns, coconut shrimp with pineapple, and much more. Definitely worth the $30 per person!! Highly recommend. They do have vegetarian items as well, such as soups (egg drop soup), rice, salad, fruit, steamed buns, and vegetables dishes (including seaweed salad). Dessert section was kind of small, but some of the items (coconut pudding?)were very tasty. Dessert items include: fresh fruit, banana and tapioca pudding, cookies, pastries, ice cream in a cup, coconut flan, flan, custard cups, cream puffs, jello, jian dui (sesame balls), Rice and red bean sticky buns (nian dou bao). Plenty of seating inside, as well as parking. They do serve alcohol here as well, including Modelo, Pacifico, and Corona beers. Like many buffets, they offer to go as well (by weight). First time trying Ocean Buffet and I was pleasantly surprised. The seafood selection was great, especially the hot crab legs—they kept them coming and they were fresh. There was also a wide variety of sushi, Chinese dishes , soup, dim sum etc.,which looked fresh and tasted good. Hot sour soup is super duper good . It’s very kid-friendly too, lots of options for everyone. The place was clean and spacious, and overall the vibe was comfortable. Service was decent—nothing over the top, but everything we needed was taken care of. Price is a bit on the higher side, but considering the selection and quality, I think it’s worth it for a nice meal out. I’d definitely come back again with my family.
