What a great little place! Went with my dad and daughter and we had a great time and the meal was outstanding. The owner and waitress were extremely friendly and made the meal very enjoyable.

Many small divey breakfast places do not serve quality food. The Ocean Cafe is the exception. Situated directly across from Howard Futch Park and beach it is a cool place to get breakfast or lunch. All items are made to order. Biscuits are made in house not the typical Sysco Drek the other local competitors serve. I ordered 3 eggs over hard and bacon. The bacon was fried crisp and they were choice cuts. The eggs were fresh and seasoned properly. Most places throw unseasoned eggs and point at the salt and pepper. The decor matches the location. Barrier Island/Beach casual hip. The owner is always on premises and greets all of the guests warmly. Are there fancier places. Are there homier, friendly and fresh? No where on beachside for sure. Give it a try.
