I've given two stars because my son-in-law's crispy beef was apparently very nice but otherwise I'd have given the lowest score I could due to poor food quality and customer service. I ordered duck in plum sauce which I've had from numerous other chinese takeaways and enjoyed. Plum sauce is my favourite and I am pretty sure what it is supposed to look and taste like. When the food arrived I opened the lid to see duck with A LOT of pineapple. I dislike pineapple, perhaps more than any other food, but I thought I'd try the duck and pick out the pineapple if I could. Unfortunately, the sauce tasted of nothing but pineapple and I just could not eat it. I called the takeaway and spoke to a lady who told me it was duck in plum sauce but it comes with pineapple. I suggested that, given it was the only other ingredient other than duck - and the sauce tasted of nothing other than pineapple - this should be listed in the menu. She said she would need the manager to call me and that he would do in within 20 minutes. An hour and a half later, and after I had given up on resolving things and gone to bed, the manager called me. The manager refused to accept that this dish was mostly duck and pineapple and was rude and dimissive. I tried to tell him a number of times that I was in bed and did not wish to have an argument with him. To get him to stop talking, I suggested that I would take the dish in to him the next day which I did. On arrival the manager opened the dish and said 'this is duck with plum sauce' and showed me a small pot of what he called plum sauce. This sauce was almost transparant and had no smell to it at all; it is of no surprise that the sauce in my dish took the taste and smell of all the many large pieces of pineapple given his sauce was so bland and watery. The manager refused to accept that perhaps the dish should be suitably labelled in the menu and said that I needed to ask if any of the dishes contained pineapple or that I should write a note on the order, regardless of what it was, that it cannot contain pineapple. He did refund me for the dish in the end (after a LOT of discussion) but he refused to accept any errors on their part at all and he talked at me, over the top of me throughout the discussion. In addition to the above, my daughter's chicken chow mein was completely tasteless and the egg fried rice we ordered contained no egg at all (I notice others have commented on this). This was the first time we had used Ocean City and we will not ever be using them again. Such a shame. Order type: Takeaway

Had a delivery last night...it took one and a half hours to arrive and food was stone cold.
