It was OK. Thought was overpriced for the quality. Service very slow too. Views are nice.

We returned home from a great stay here on Tues. We have stayed years ago, but as we often have our dogs with us we tend to use Airbnbs. We travelled down on 30th Aug only to not be able to get into our pre booked Airbnb. We took a chance at 10pm on a Sat night with 2 dogs in tow and went into Oceanside to see if they had availability. The staff could not have been more helpful, and looked after us so well. We were both quite stressed and tired, but all of the staff made us feel relaxed and comfortable. They sorted us with a lovely room for the 10 days and quickly became our dogs treat dealers! They definitely turned a potentially disastrous trip into a holiday for us. Also the food was great, not to mention the views. We would highly recommend Oceanside.

Whilst visiting Newquay we were looking for a Cornish Cream Tea experience and fell upon the Oceanside Restaurant walking back to town from the Fistral Beach. The scones are served warm, fresh and delicious. The cream and jam are NOT served in packets. Such a treat. One of the best scones we have tasted. You must visit. Thank you Chef.
