I wanted to eat a light snack before heading to eat soba, the 3 colour dango was interesting so I ordered it, what came out was such a spread for 650yen it surprised me ^^;! A pot of green tea was set out for me as well. It seem like there is something in the dango as well! I normally don't like dango as it gets overwhelming with just flour. But there was something inside the dango that eating it was a very unique experience. I think this is the first time I had dango like this in Japan? The dango was really delicious TT;; The powder was the perfect amount of sweetness, and the red bean was not too thick nor sweet. It's a plus that you can feel the texture of the bean. It's an experience I think would be hard to find in other part of Japan ^^* The entrance to Ochanoma was through a tiny path as well, it was cute! Tiny little place tucked down the hill from the shrine/temple entrances, it was excellent. The chestnut udon was fantastic (and that's coming from someone who's not crazy about udon), and my fellow dinners loved the dumpling spread as well. Definitely recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
