Excellent sushi and service! The creamy salmon and baked crawfish rolls are to die for! The green mussels are the best in town. I used to go to other sushi places but no more. Polite and nice staff, atmosphere like an older Japanese restaurant. I wanted to like this place. The rolls are good if that's your thing. Unfortunately, these people have no idea what they're doing when it comes to nigiri sushi. The fish came out too warm for my tastes, it must've sat on the rice too long before being served. The rice fell apart from being soaked in soy sauce (I did not add any... very weird to have soy sauce put on without my asking). Lemon slices between each piece overwhelmed the fish's natural flavor and I have a worry that was done to mask the fishy smell of subpar fish. Don't go here for nigiri, but if you're looking for hot Japanese food or rolls, probably fine. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

There was another sushi place in Riverside called Pacific sushi that suddenly went out of business last year. I have been searching for a similar sushi restaurant like that, and I can finally say I found it. Oishii Sushi is now my go to sushi restaurant in Riverside. Prices are reasonable with great food quality. Highly recommend! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
