Come for a meal after seeing San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum. The Vegetarian cuisine is on the menu at this restaurant. Take your family with you and have nicely cooked thai tofu, thai salads and yakisoba. Good ice cream is among the dishes to be tried at Oki Momo Asian Grill. Get your meal started with delicious beer or good wine. Visit this place for great americano, ice tea or mint tea.
The staff is said to be gracious here. The professional service is a big advantage of this spot. Average prices are what you will pay for your meal. The homey decor and spectacular ambiance let clients feel relaxed here. Google gives it 4.5 so you can select this restaurant to spend a good time here.

VEGAN EATERS HERE....Not bad for speedy eats but, we were looking for something a bit more, ummm, elevated and had heard good things. Oki Momo Asian Grill is tucked away in a shopping/business center in SLO, nice enough location though not very visible, parking is good. Decor is minimal as is the atmosphere and honestly, not much of a vibe. That's OK, we were hungry and not looking for a Michelin star, right? Menu is extensive and offers an unusual way of ordering, multiple items for a flat price with add ons and a few other options. We zeroed in on vegetable rice/noodle/curry combos and remembered we had been told about their "crispy tofu" which we went back and ordered. You pick up your sauces at a small counter next to the register area. Some vegan options. NOTE: service station was quite messy and unappetizing. Food comes quickly, warm not hot, rice was rather tired and sticky, the noodles were likewise breaking down and neither had much taste, the sauces didn't offer much there either, bland unless you loaded up with SRI. The curry was probably the best, very simple, elemental. The tofu was indeed crispy and very hot, a large portion. It was tasty though, if you don't like nutritional yeast, pass, it is coated in it. We ate, we left, not likely to return. Not bad, just not memorable. "Well intentioned" that doesn't make it to the plate, well, it didn't make it to the plate. If owner had been there I would have been happy to have shared these thoughts directly, no one starts out to disappoint. With all the great Asian choices in SLO you have to work harder to stand out, just saying.
