Once the promenade around the Syokei House is over, visit Okimitsu. It's time to try perfectly cooked udon noodles, udon and eel. Great tea is worth trying here.

What a way to try cold soba for the very first time ever. I wasn't looking for soba specifically, only to scan in the map that was away from the coast line to see smaller shops and found Okimitsu. Run by a nice couple. Take in the warm hospitality of this small restaurant nestled a little off the path. Limited seat but the service was very quick and superb. We each ordered #8, beware the dessert does have peanuts, so I gave it to my sibling (the reason my tray didn't have the powdered dessert). Put the green onions and wasabi in the sauce (placed underneath it). Then eat by dipping your soba in it. Delicious!
