After you have seen Prokurative, come to this restaurant. It's a pleasant experience to order perfectly cooked john dory, risotto and pasta. Good wine will make your meal tastier and you'll certainly come back. Drink delicious coffee, it's a must while visiting Oko podne.
The cosy atmosphere of this place makes guests feel relaxed and have a nice time. A lot of people say that the staff is courteous at this place. This spot is notable for its professional service. Prices here are reported to be affordable. This restaurant scored 4.3 in the Google rating system.

Great restaurant & highly recommended. We visited on a Sunday evening (15th Oct 2023). The lady chef is a food genius & the service was perfect. Felt like Mamma's great tasting home cooking! We had incredibly good octopus (cooked & served with potatoes, tomatoes & red peppers), very good, tasty seafood risotto (with calamari, shrimp, clams & mussels), fantastic pasta with Dalmatian ham & truffle oil (probably our favourite dish) & grilled tuna with some kind of tasty dark sweetish sauce (looked almost like a goulash, but was very good). Quite a simple restaurant (perhaps why the food was so good?) & interesting to note that menu prices were so reasonable, even the wine prices. For example, John Dory & Sea Bream (both really good fish to eat) are less than half the price here when compared to prices for John Dory & Sea Bream on various Dalmatian coast islands we visited earlier in the week, while cruising the various islands by boat. Very enjoyable evening with exceptionally good food. Thank you Oko Podne. Will definitely eat here again on our next visit to Split. I was there at the same time as this lovely couple was today and i gotta inform you that spreading false arguments is very low of you. I managed to overhear the discussion happening, you got butter, jam and a couple of toasts FOR FREE, meaning you only paid for the breakfast and that one butter you mentioned and you still have something to complain? Oh Raylene Habstritt, poor Raylene. Its safe to say that we would rather not have this type of Canadians here.
