Stopped by for a late lunch on a Saturday and ended up sitting in the sunny front room with a view of the garden, which made the wait totally worth it. The perogies and cabbage rolls tasted like something my grandmother would make, generous portions and genuinely comforting. Our server checked in just enough without hovering and even suggested the borscht as a starter, which turned out to be the best part of the meal. Parking behind the building was easy to find too, a small thing but nice after some other spots downtown gave me a headache.

Stopped by on a weeknight after work and they had no problem with my dog joining me on the patio, which I really appreciated. The waitress even brought out a water bowl without me asking, small thing but it made the whole visit feel easygoing. Split an order of the schnitzel and it was crispy and huge, way more than I expected for the price. Parking right out front made it super easy to hop in and out with the leash and everything, will definitely be back.

Hi mama rose - are you sure you have the right restaurant? we aren’t open nights except for special events. We do have a dog friendly patio out on nice weekends and yes we try to spoil your pet for ( free bacon ) sure. Were you here on a weekend for breakfast perhaps. I appreciate the review I just don’t want people to get the idea that we are open in the evenings and be disappointed. Cheers Char
