We came to The New Explorer last week while on holiday from Ghana and had such a great time, mostly because of Deniz. She was so friendly from the moment we walked in. She told us about the best places to visit in London, which really helped us enjoy our holiday. She was amazing with our children too, keeping them entertained and making us all feel welcome. You could tell she genuinely loves her job. She was always smiling behind the bar and had the same friendly energy with everyone who came in, not just us. It was really nice to see and made the pub have such a great atmosphere. She also told us all about Turkey, and after talking to her we’ve decided that’s where we’re going for our next holiday! She made such a good impression that we came back the next day just hoping to see her again, but unfortunately she wasn’t working. Deniz is a real asset to The New Explorer. Thank you for making our family feel so welcome and making our trip to London even more special. We hope to see you again next time. Price per person: £60–70 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Deniz was great! Really friendly, welcoming and knew her stuff. She always had a smile on her face and it was honestly infectious. Made us feel really welcome at the pub and was just lovely to chat to. She’s a real credit to the place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
