Here you will find good grilled salads, black bean soup and calamari fries. The feature of this bar is serving tasty pecan pie, pumpkin pie and orange brownies. It's nice to try delicious marsala, rosé wine or orange wine. This place is known for great orange squash.

The fabulous service is its big benefit.

New owner.... Very dark inside at noon. Limited menu....no desserts. Sure hope they get it all together.

I hate leaving bad reviews, I hate it. But this was not good. I ordered a delivery order from Hickory Bar & Grill through grubhub. I ordered fried oysters, their "taste of the grill dinner," which is described as a sample of "BBQ ribs, jerk chicken, Cajun shrimp, Andouille sausage, grilled peppers and onions, served with redskin garlic mashed potatoes," and because I'm a fiend for it, two cokes (at $2.50). The fried oysters were either completely mushy or rubberbands. At the bottom of the container were scraps of french fries. Had I seen that before eating them, I wouldn't have eaten them. The "taste of the grill" came completely wrong. It was a huge pile of mashed potatoes, with what appeared to be undercooked meatloaf on top. The meatloaf was broken into bits, like someone had crumbled it over the top like ground beef. I can't comment on how it tasted: I don't like meatloaf, and this obviously wasn't even /good/ meatloaf. They do have a meatloaf dinner, but that's supposed to come with "onion straws," which wasn't here -- this wasn't a simple mix up. To add insult to injury, the cokes that I paid $2.50 for, each, are 12-oz cans. Hey, I know, especially with delivery, you overpay for your sodas, but for that amount, I would have expected at least 20-oz bottles. Just nothing good here. Definitely won't order again.
