The hotel is located a couple of miles outside Crickhowel (perfect for walking the Beacons Way footpath) - a nice looking old building, with plenty of parking on site, & nice views of the hillside. The reception & bar are cosy - the rooms themselves basic & 'tired'. But the staff were friendly & efficient - & the food was outstanding - really tasty (including veggie options) & excellent value for money. Overall a solid 7.5/10. Service: 5

Such lovely staff, who went above and beyond. Stayed here last weekend and left my pyjamas behind and the kind lady at the front desk (I think she was called Ann) posted them to me, what a legend! The venue and location is also beautiful, and so many nice walks nearby. Great value for money, would really recommend. Service: 5

We got married at The Old Rectory Hotel in August 2023 and cannot recommend it enough. The staff were so accommodating, helpful and just generally great to have around on such a special day. The venue itself is fantastic and food was great. I still have wedding guests talking about the leek and potato soup! Rooms: The master suite is well presented, fantastic bathroom with lovely views out on to the front of the hotel and very spacious Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value
