We stayed at the Chateau on our romantic get away to Lake Superior. We had many plans to venture out, but found ourselves drawn back to the beautiful and meticulous upkept property. One afternoon we spent by the beautiful rounded window playing cribbage, drinking coffee, and overlooking Lake Superior. Our room was beautiful with views of the garden. From the second we walked in, staff was friendly and knowledgeable, offering information about the property and a wonderful tour. Breakfast was included and top notch with plenty of options. During our stay we had the opportunity to be in each of the breakfast rooms with tables, all of which had many wonderful treasures to observe, stained glass windows with various designs, and charming staff. The location is perfectly aligned with a quick walk to downtown as well as the ferry to Madeline Island. If you are looking for a place to stay, that easily helps you romanticize your life, this is the place.
