Just wanted to share our experience we had New Year's Day 2024. 1. We called to ask about waiting list, and were told there wasn't one. Though when we arrived, we were asked if we were on the waiting list. We explain about our call, but still had to wait maybe 10 min's. 2. The tables are about 2 inches too high, making it difficult to work the griddle. They are also a little small to handle all the items you have for your meal. 3. A side of bacon was 2 strips for $3.99 4. When ordering the All You Can Eat Pancake, BE SURE YOU KNOW THAT EACH. 5 grain cinnamon and Buttermilk are $7.99. They'll bring you both, and charge you for both without knowing. 5. Water isn't filtered, and has that FL taste 6. Coffee, $3 an endless cup 7. The Restaurant is Quaint and busy, I am not a big fan of an automatic gratuity added to a check for a party of 2.

Love the Old Sugar Mill: the ambience, the delicious pancakes. Unfortunately, the wait was 4 hours, and they seemed to be understaffed, making turnover less efficient than it could've been. Still, a great Old Florida experience.

I have never been so disappointed with the reopen on a business. They changed everything. The batter is thick and grainy. The multi grain wasn't ground down and you can see and feel all the grains. The hot chocolate was like drinking chocolate water. The bacon was practically see through it was so thin, all fat, super greasy, and just plan bad. I will say it is clean and the floors are even. There's new table and griddles. I will forever miss the old Spanish sugar mill before it's new management.
