What all Chinese take out should aspire to be. Absolutely blown away with my first experience eating Chop Suey. GF and I got the Dinner for 2, sweet&sour chicken and beef and broccoli. Possibly the best egg roll I’ve ever had. Super affordable, large portions and full of flavor. Writing this review in the middle of chowing down. Delicious. 10/10 would recommend to my grandmother. Inflation has not been kind here. Raised prices and decreased quantity. The food was definitely 4 star quality, and portions were what they SHOULD be for a person; but not what we actually eat. My husband and I ate egg rolls, crab Rangoon, cashew chicken and some shrimp fried rice. This Old St Louis Chop Suey is definitely the best Asian food I’ve had since the last time I ate there! Nobody makes egg rolls like they do. They are made there, fresh daily, not frozen like a lot of places and you can taste the difference. I won’t eat egg rolls from anyplace else. The shrimp fried rice is loaded with shrimp It was all delicious. I’ve eaten at other places with the same name but they are not the same. This one is the best!
