My husband and I had our wedding reception at the event center on 9-21-24. At the initial meeting, she said there would be water and coffee out for our guests while they eat. Come the wedding day, there was nothing on the tables, forcing my guests to buy something to drink. There was a bar in the back of the room but they didn't take credit cards, so some of my guests went to the main bar to buy drinks. When they went to that bar they were ignored and some even had their change taken from them and put into the bartenders tip jar by the bartender! When it came time for the meal, Mary and I talked about 2 food options for people, fried chicken and chicken strips. The workers proceeded to give every person friend chicken so I started telling people to tell the waitress if they wanted chicken strips. Once they were told, they were very rude about it. My maid of honor got her plate which included the sides which were fine but her chicken was 2 small wings. Thank God DQ was open...In our first meeting with Mary, she told me we could clean up Sunday night. By 8:30pm she had the bartender bring boxes out saying we need to be cleaned up and out that night, cutting our reception short. I had family and friends come from out of town and out of state and I've never been more embarrassed in my whole life. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Held daughter's wedding reception here 2 weeks ago. After meeting with owner to get the particulars, many of the things we were told were included never were. The two options of chicken were not offered, guests had to request it and were met with looks of utter distain. There was NOTHING put out to drink! We were told there would be coffee and water and guests could purchase drinks. No coffee, no water, everyone was asking.....We were told that cleanup could wait until the day after. At the end of the evening when bride and groom were ready to leave, a waitress came in, threw boxes at them and told them it all had to be cleaned up NOW! Watch the bartenders also, they'll take your dollars in change and stuff it into the tip jar without even asking you.
