Cat sitting nearby in the condos off the 580 freeway it was really cool to come across this place that was by a neighborhood. It has such a finance wooden shack vibe, it was tropical and hole in the wall but spacious as well. It was a Weekday night and it really is in not a busy location so i suspect a lot of people do takeout cause the food is so good and people would prefer to eat at home but i would 100% recommend eating her for the ambiance and feel. the service was excellent, we wanted to try everything and cause we were cat sitting, the cat owner was paying for this meal and we got everything for around $70 including tip and it was so so worth it, of course we had left overs it was just two of us.

Ask for cute, sweet Penny - Best service in Oakland! Delicious noodles, curry, crispy egg roll, coconut creamy sticky rice, and Thai iced coffee - it feels like a jungle pirate ship but without the swearing - 'Blue' even let me play his two accordions in the waterfall lobby! Delicious food, great service, fun atmosphere. This is truly an Oakland gem of a restaurant. Definitely the best Thai food in town!!
