Very light menu to start with food and drinks-wise (and with a few items not available, they're want much of a choice). Not worth the detour. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$30–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Hi although our experience at first was negative and basically unacceptable management did recognize their mistakes and I applaud them for their apology and kind response. I’ m not the complaining type as Judy can attest to and I do accept their sincereness and will give it a try again in the very near future. Once again I would like to thank the Heritage Village and accept that inexperience contributed to the whole situation! My boyfriend and I went to the Olde Shoppe Restaurant this past weekend for supper. The young server who waited on us came to our table without a pen to write down our order, but as I had one in my handbag, I offered it to her. She and another server brought us our wine, and glasses of water, which we sipped on while we chatted with each other and enjoyed the view from the restaurant's windows. Another server (not the girl who took our order) brought us our meals. The server who took our order did come by to check that our meals were ok, they were. She left and we resumed eating. The meal was so good, neither of us left so much as a morsel on our plates. We finished our wine, and had decided on tea and dessert, but we never saw our server again. She never came back to clear our plates or to ask if we'd like anything else, we waited 20 minutes. After that time, we decided to leave. Our server was at the cash and when we said we would have liked to have had dessert, she became belligerent with us and stated she got "stuck with two large tables". I was appalled by her attitude. I will never darken the doorway of your establishment again, nor will anyone I know. The only redeeming quality was the food.
