Amazing italian restaurant! Most cozy bar I’ve been to, staff is friendly and food is amazing and super fresh. It is not noisy inside but perfectly comfortable and cozy. Would definitely recommend everyone to go here! Pasta is perfectly al dente. Eat the tiramisu here!! Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Oliva is a great little spot for Italian food. The atmosphere feels relaxed, and the staff is welcoming. They offer several good vegetarian options, which is what I was looking for, and the pasta with vegetables is fresh and delicious. Do not skip the panna cotta. It is creamy, with strawberries, and in my opinion one of the best desserts I had in Kyoto. A wonderful place for a delicious vegetarian meal. Of course there are more meat options but I am appreciative that vegetarian was an option. Price per person: ¥9,000–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
