My friend and I went to this coffee shop around 1pm today. While we were just a few steps after two local girls who got in, the staff (or owner?) REFUSED to serve us. It was explained that there were too many customers at the moment. As we observed, it was completely not a FULL-HOUSE situation and there were at least three tables available. Such a BAD experience here. The weather was BAKING HOT and we just wanted to have a COZY place to chill a bit. When I entered the store, I was told that my temperature would be taken outside, so I went outside. After taking your temperature, you will be disinfected inside the store and guided to your seat. At lunchtime, you can choose between set meals and lunch, and the menu changes once every two weeks. This week's lunch is chicken chap set meal and shrimp gratin. It was a slightly warm day, but as a gratin fan, I definitely wanted to try shrimp gratin, so I ordered it. Lunch comes with salad, bread or rice, and coffee (hot or iced) and costs around 1,000 yen with a little change. The salad has a refreshing sour dressing made with olive oil. The main dish, gratin, is modest in volume and has a light taste. Two slices of toasted baguette are served with black pepper-infused olive oil. The iced coffee was the type you would find at a small cafe. It may be suitable for small eaters who want to enjoy a leisurely lunch time.
