A lot of visitors point out that waiters serve good wonton soup, sweet & sour pork and ginger beef here. At this restaurant, clients may have delicious tea. Guests don't highly appreciate ice cream at Oliver Garden Restaurant.
At this place, you can order food as a takeaway. The gracious staff welcomes people all year round. This spot is remarkable for its spectacular service. You will like democratic prices. Horrible service. We ordered 4 items and got the first 2 dishes 20 minutes apart. We canceled the last 2 dishes and asked for our bill. There isn't a star lower than a 1 star or I would have given it a negative rating. We will never go back to the wanna-be-restaurant.

This restaurant has been a fixture in Oliver for decades but seems to be suffering under all the pressures affecting the industry. The dishes we ordered were fine, but the portions were sadly shrinkflated. We left hungry. They are obviously struggling to find staff, as most of the front end is covered by an earnest but overwhelmed ten year old. Food began arriving before we had place settings and then trickled out of the kitchen over the next 30 minutes, with a lot of background shouting. Hardly relaxing. Wish them well dealing with these problems, but we won't be back to check. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I'm not one to leave ratings but I had to in this case! Just an overnighter in Oliver BC and Oliver Garden Restaurant was one of the only places open after 7pm the night we were here. We walked in and were greeted and seated by the young son of the family. I'm guessing he's somewhere around 10yo and I'm pretty sure he has a bright future as a comedian! Don't get me wrong... he was very well mannered and professional but had a unique ability to drop a hilarious line when it fit! Of course none of that means anything if the food isn't great but it also deserves the 5 star! I would highly recommend the Black Pepper Hot Beef plate with a side of rice. The beef was done to perfection and melted in my mouth and was in a sauce that I'd love to know how to make! My wife had curry chicken and our son had the Chicken Balls which provided a few giggles and red faces between the young man and our son of 12 when he ordered them! And an explanation from the owners son "Well, they're not really ... " Anyway, it was a great experience and food! We relayed the compliment to his mom who was the chef. Two other groups were near us during our visit and in discussion with them, they expressed they were thrilled as well. I'm not sure when we'll get back to Oliver but when we do this will be our first stop! Thank all of you, from all of us!! We always try to support family businesses and yours is exactly why!
