Located near the Blandford Street metro station, Oliver's Night Club on Brookline Ave offers a mix of pub and bar elements with an operating style that accommodates dine-in service only. This spot seems to combine a casual atmosphere with trendy vibes, making it suitable for groups looking to enjoy a night out. Guests can indulge in a range of offerings, including an extensive selection of alcoholic beverages such as beer, cocktails, spirits, and wine, complemented by food options available at the site.

Although their menu includes great cocktails and has been noted for having decent offerings such as a commendable chicken sandwich, some visitors have raised concerns regarding the entry process and management practices. The reviews highlight potential challenges they face, such as overcrowding and lengthy waiting in line due to overselling tickets, alongside critiques of the high entry fees and confrontational security staff at the entrance. A recent comment pointed out a discrepancy between its advertised identity as a nightclub and its apparent setup as just a room in the back of a sports bar.

With operational hours extending late into the night from Monday to Saturday, the establishment's effort to appeal to night owls is evident, although guaranteed satisfaction remains uncertain from the feedback provided. No updates have been shared by the management recently, which leaves certain aspects up for speculation until more information is made available. For those considering a visit, the moderate price level suggests affordability within typical city nightlife standards, but prospective patrons might want to weigh the potential drawbacks mentioned in this assessment based on visitor comments.

Literal joke of a place. The "bouncers" are a complete waste of space on an ego trip, acting like every out-of-state ID they see is fake and running it through a "machine". I'm 23, here to start grad school in the fall, and they wanted to keep my ID. They even lied to me saying their machine read it as fake. Had to show them a pic of my passport to get it back. Even then they were skeptical as if I could have a fake passport so I offered to show them my grad pics or something and even asked them to call the police. No apology given, just pushed aside and was told they'd "let it slide this time" and that I should be grateful they weren't sending my picture to the police. There was no reason to be so rude and accusatory after I volunteered to provide multiple sources to verify my age. Could've just apologized instead of threatening me and automatically assuming I'm lying. If this is helpful to anyone, I was the only POC in the group I arrived in and the only one given trouble. They make money off of not letting people in the door. They sell way too many tickets and many people leave due to long lines. Stay in at that point.
