Olympia been our "go to" restaurant for years! But we were shocked Friday! Prices have risen so outrageously that my friends and I have stopped dining there. Paid $25.00 plus tip for a fish fry with two sides on Friday. Previously, people were lined out the door on Friday after 4:30 for the fish fries. Last Friday? Price rise? All the tables were never filled simultaneously. No lines at the door. Less "take out" (used to be stacked up high). After my friends and I finished, Olympia was almost empty. We'll not be back until (if) prices are more reasonable. Can't justify $175.00 for five people. Too bad. We love the people who work there, and the food and service are always "spot on.". I had the privilege eating here several times last October. This was a wonderful place for food and local hospitality. Coming from a big city where you don't expect any level of service I was very pleased when I visited for breakfast and dinner. The food was great and so was the service. I later learned that it is owner operated. That does not surprise me at all. When I come back to Greece I will definitely come back to enjoy authentic home cooked food and real service... real people. Thank you for many memorable experiences.
