Omakase is pretty near St. Andrew's Cathedral. That's a nice idea to order perfectly cooked salad rolls, salmon sashimi and tuna tataki. Good beer will make your meal tastier and you'll surely come back. Visitors don't highly appreciate tea at this restaurant.
You will certainly appreciate the homey ambiance and terrific decor. But Omakase hasn't gained a high rating from Google users.

This restaurant owner alway drinking alcohol's with his Korean waitress during the working hours especially in between 10pm - 12am. Hopefully BC Liquor Enforcement will pay more attention for such illegal activities.

In this part of Victoria, there are a surprising number of Japanese restaurants, Omakase Izakaya & Sushi Bar is a nice one. THE ROSES: Small but pleasant space. Courteous and efficient staff. Good ramen. The sushi looked good, but we didn't order it. THE THORNS: Katsu curry was a real disappointment. The sauce looked and tasted like it came right out of a Golden Curry box. Bland and uninspired. Definitely not up to OI&SB's standard with their other offerings. THE VERDICT: Good place to visit, but pass on the curry. TOP TIP (management): If you don't have the time to make something you're proud of, don't put it on the menu.
