They are very serious about their drink-making here, and it pays off. Their roasts are delicious. But if you want a sweetener in your drink be sure to tell them before they start. :)

Coffee nice! A little on the pricey side (over $6 for an iced Americano) Service cool! Ambiance... the music is classic. The windows create a nice visual image. The treats look delicious and there might be some heathy options too! Location!!! Top notch! There isn't a decent coffee shop in this area for miles! (Jks) this place is a much needed quality coffee shop.

Omnia Coffee Roasters by Sameer Mohamed of Fahrenheit recently opened in the building of Flying Squirrel Motorcycle at Queen East & Knox. Aficionados will find a focus on espresso drinks and limited series beans, with a look and vibe more in tune with the neighbourhood compared to the business district style of Fahrenheit. The space is still a work in progress partly due to COVID19 restrictions and paving being done on the Queen facing side which will hopefully be divided between patio seating and a few parking spots. It's currently unfurnished except for one merchandise fixture and some motorcycles for decoration Other than that, the counter and espresso bar are the main attractions for now. I choose a Flat White with the Fazenda Da Serra coffee from Brazil. it was perfectly pulled and frothed to my liking - served very warm but not hot - those preferring a burning hot temperature might want to request a longer frothing - I thought this was fine, any hotter might have had a numbing effect on some of the flavours ( these boutique coffees are often on the delicate side). It was extremely smooth and the tasting notes build over several sips, although personally I might have preferred the roast just a tad darker. I ended up buying the beans to use for pourovers. It's pretty good but I believe they're represented better in unfiltered brewing methods. The $20 /340G is pretty much in line with most artisan roasters The stretch between Pape and Woodbine lags behind other old Toronto neighbourhoods when it come to specialty coffee options so despite the challenging conditions Omnia is right on time getting a foothold in this area. Despite not yet reaching its full potential and a couple of minor quibbles for people like me ( early closing, difficult parking ) I'll start them off with a 4.5 as they bring a needed boost to the area's coffee scene and I think they will meet the expectations of their target customer.
