Overall Score: 3.2/10 New place. Takeout-style Chinese spot, not somewhere you’d want to eat inside. Quality was rough overall, with multiple items bad enough to toss. Only a couple things were actually enjoyable. General Tso chicken 2.5/10 Questionable chicken quality. Flavor didn’t make up for the texture issues. Chicken sticks 1.8/10 Seemed undercooked and unappetizing. Ended up thrown out. Crab rangoon 1.5/10 Stale with barely any filling. Not worth eating. Boneless spare ribs 6.5/10 Easily the best item. Flavor was solid and cooked well. Beef fried rice 3.5/10 Rice itself was fine, but the beef had almost no flavor. Egg roll 3.4/10 Pretty good compared to the rest. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I have only had a few items off of the menu but everything I've gotten is very good. The kung pao chicken was very hot so if that's your thing go for it. Boneless spare ribs are good. Dragon in Phoenix specialty plate is good. One of my go-to's and when I go to pick up the people are always super friendly and quick to get me up back out the door. Price per person: $10–20

No.1 China has been great for the decade I’ve been going there. Sure I’ve had a small issues here and there but nothing that specifically stands out. I don’t go there for the ambiance, I go there because the food is legit and the prices are reasonable. I actually schedule my grocery shopping at Harris Teeter next door around Mondays when this Chinese place is closed lol.
