Really quite disappointed by the standard of breakfast here. Having just arrived in Penang, I headed straight to this cafe for a first brunch in this leading culinary city. After a little agreed adjustment to the yoghurt bowl (they did not have passion fruit so we agreed to substitute for berries), I was hugely underwhelmed by what arrived it front of me. Not living up to its description, the granola was barely more than a spoonful’s worth and to top this off, it didn’t match the menu’s description of “chocolate granola”. Prior to ordering, should this not have been mentioned? Since I was chatting away with newly made friends (also travelling) it would have been ill timed for me to raise this so I simply ate up, paid and left. I didn’t even manage a picture which is a shame. Looking back, I really should have raised the matter but I hope this issue does not repeat itself. Certainly not worth the price I paid and quite out of character for a Penang institution. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
