I had an amazing experience at OniGuru and can honestly say it’s one of the best onigiri spots I’ve visited. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome with their friendly attitude and excellent customer service. They were happy to answer questions, explain the menu, and offer recommendations, which made the experience even better. The food was outstanding. Every onigiri we tried was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. The rice was perfectly seasoned and had the ideal texture, while the fillings were generous and packed with flavor. You can tell that a lot of care goes into preparing each item. The seaweed was fresh and crisp, and every bite tasted authentic and satisfying. What impressed me most was the consistency and attention to detail. Not only did the food look beautiful, but it also tasted even better than it looked. The portions were filling, and the value for the price was excellent. We also tried some of their sides and drinks, and everything complemented the meal perfectly. The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and inviting. Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch, dinner with friends, or trying onigiri for the first time, OniGuru is a place that delivers on quality, freshness, and service. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the food, atmosphere, and customer service are all equally impressive, but OniGuru succeeds in every category. My picky daughter likes the crab onigiri. She also likes that there are 1-2 board games to play with. When we went it looked dead. Probably normal for stores on this street. My family and I have gotten poke here several times now and it’s been consistently great every single visit. The quality of the fish and ingredients always tastes fresh, the portions are generous, and the prices are actually reasonable for what you get, which is getting harder to find lately. Everything we’ve tried has been flavorful and well made, and Z has always been friendly too. Definitely one of our go-to spots in Ladera Ranch when we’re craving poke.
