Try Japanese cuisine at this restaurant. Good white crab, onigiri and teriyaki chicken are among the dishes to be tasted at Onigiri Time. The cute staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Service at this place is something one can call prompt. From the guests' point of view, prices are average. Walked from the convention center to try this onigiri and it was definitely worth the walk in 80 degree weather. Onigiri was delicious! Ill definitely be coming back!

I dug right into the food and completely forgot to take a picture Anyways, the food here is really good! It seemed like a one-person operation, and I believe the man working there was the owner. He is incredibly nice and thoughtful—he even hands out umbrellas to customers waiting in line outside. I absolutely loved the onigiri itself, though the wasabi sauce wasn't quite my personal favorite (that’s just my own preference, though!). Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I will definitely be coming back again! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Onigiri Time in Pasadena is an experience that goes far beyond just food. While we were waiting in line, Tony kindly offered us an umbrella for shade, and later took the time to ask our names and greet us with a handshake—something that feels especially meaningful these days. Beyond that genuine hospitality, the quality of the food is outstanding. The rice is the complete opposite of chalky: soft, well-seasoned, and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend the spam onigiri and the teriyaki chicken. Small details, like the hand-stamped logo on each paper bag, turn something simple into a delicate piece of street culinary art. Definitely a place worth coming back to. Onigiri Time en Pasadena fue una experiencia que va mucho más allá de la comida. Mientras hacíamos fila, Tony tuvo el detalle de ofrecernos una sombrilla para el sol, y después se tomó el tiempo de preguntarnos nuestros nombres y saludarnos de mano—algo que hoy en día realmente se valora. Además de ese servicio tan humano, la calidad del producto es excelente. El arroz es todo lo contrario a “chalky”: suave, bien sazonado y perfectamente preparado. Recomiendo especialmente el onigiri de spam y el de pollo teriyaki. Pequeños detalles, como el sello de su negocio aplicado a mano, hacen que algo tan simple se transforme en una delicada obra de arte culinaria callejera. Sin duda, un lugar al que quieres regresar.
