The best onigiri I ever had. I particularly recommend the salmon one which is literal perfection. Sadly, I didn’t get to try all of their flavours yet, but I will be back ( again, because it’s already my third time eating here ). Usually I don’t like seaweed but here I really enjoy it as well as the quality and freshness of all of their products. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lots of choices at different price points. They’re always making onigiris so you’re sure to get some fresh. My favorite was the pork spam and beef stew. Meal type: Other Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were just wandering around looking for food when I spotted Onimaru Yaki-musubi, and honestly, it was the best decision ever to stop and grab some onigiri. Each one was beyond delicious — I don’t think I can go back to having Japanese food in Australia after this! For around 350 yen each, you can pick from so many goodies. We tried the smoked salmon & avo, tuna & mayo, shrimp tempura, mentaiko & mayo omelette, and pork — and every single one was incredible. Saucy, strong in flavour, juicy, and so satisfying. If you’re in Kyoto, don’t skip this spot! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1–1,000
