After seeing Seattle First Covenant Church, it may be a good idea to visit this cafe. Delicious wine is worth a try here. Most likely, you'll return to Open Form later to try great matcha latte, matcha or espresso.

Today I went to this café just to get a matcha latte, but the staff asked me to show my ID. I was quite surprised because this is the first time a café has ever asked for my ID, especially since it’s not a bar. The last time I visited, they didn’t require it, but this time they suddenly did. The way the staff asked also made me feel uncomfortable. It was frustrating and disappointing that I couldn’t even sit and enjoy a drink just because I didn’t show my ID.

Easily one of my favorite cafes in seattle. Generally with a cafe you have to compromise. Good atmosphere or good drinks? Good place to work or good place to meet friends? You don’t have to compromise at open form….. The space itself is massive but well populated with a perfect mix of seating—couches for reading, chairs for working , round tables if you have a lot of friends, stools if everything else is taken. Even on cloudy days the big windows let in so much light from the second floor. And they’re open all day! You can come in the morning and get coffee or come in the evening and have some tea. I really like their teas and tea service. I recommend the soba cha. The espresso isn’t half bad if you are a coffee head. Something for everyone. Shoutout to the best baristas Rana and Brody!!!!!!!!!
