Romantically beautiful cafe with a great menu, friendly service & delicious beverages! Parking: Street parking but one hour free on weekdays. Free on weekends. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We paid for soup and waited quite a while for it. When I finally asked for it again we were told they didn't actually have what we ordered and paid for. They didn't bother to tell us until I asked for it again. We accepted a substitute and it was fine. As we were eating a server came over and said my friend's service dog wasn't permitted in the restaurant but we could finish our lunch this time. We were told next time we would have to sit out side. When I pointed out it was cold, windy and raining she just repeated next time the service dog couldn't be inside. There won't be a next time. So, if you have a service dog don't bother going to this establishment. They are not friendly to people who have a disability and depend on their service dog! Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Great spot for lunch any day, but particularly on a cold rainy day! Garbanzo bean and chorizo soup with a salad was excellent. Followed by a treat from the bakery case. Next time I’m in North Bay I will be back at the Opera Bakery Cafe
