Once the promenade around the Tesoro Del Duomo is over, visit Opium Bar. You can order good croissants. Visit this bar for great cappuccino.
The energetic staff welcomes visitors all year round. Nice service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of Opium Bar. As people see it, the atmosphere is quiet here. But this place is not highly appreciated by Google users who provided it a below average rating.

Formerly “Vital Cafébar”, now “Opium Bar” with a view of Bolzano Cathedral. Relaxed atmosphere outside, good espresso, cappucino, brioche with delicious fillings, etc. However, if you sit inside, it is so loud that you can hardly talk to each other. The clatter from the bar and the babble of voices from the tables meet on the vaulted ceiling and the walls, which are also uncovered. These acoustics are so annoying that you want to be outside if possible. With very little effort, it would be possible to reduce the noise level and ensure a pleasant noise ambience indoors. Maybe just see how other restaurants with comparable structural conditions do it, e.g. the “Bogen” in the Dr. Josef-Streiter-Gasse. Price per person: €1–10
