Coffee is great! But would never recommend food at Opposite. I’ve ordered the avocado on sourdough toast with a pouched egg on the side. It is tasteless!

Got porridge and toast and milk x2 £27 and it was absolutely rotten £14 for 4 X toast £5.20 for 2 small glass of milk £ 8 for porridge Ripped of and disgusting food porridge was basically dry oats toast rock hard butter frozen keep away if you can Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Atmosphere: 1

My wife and I lived in Chapel Allerton for 6 months in 2013/2014 and Opposite Cafe was our go to place for coffee. The Baristas - and in particular Lou, Monica, Alex and the young genius Adam - produced perfect drinks every time. Adam made my first V60 for me in the VQ cafe and I've been drinking them ever since. Besides being great baristas the staff were (are) very decent people. I miss the place and the staff!!
