A lot of visitors order great iced coffee, moccachino or latte.

My partner and I stayed in Raglan for the first time just over a week ago and came across this restaurant. Loved the location, the service and our food, in particular my chicken frangelico was a knock out. Will definitely be back on our return trip. Out-of-towner's first visit here (27th.Dec '22) as a 'thank you' for a nice Xmas with a Raglan local. Very nice atmosphere & pleasant staff.The food I ordered was such a disappointment, I have to mention it here: The Calamari, was nothing like I've ever had before anywhere: The pieces were smaller that a 10 cent piece and seemed to just be coated in white breadcrumbs & then forgotten !?to to be fried to golden brown. Frozen large rings of squid from a supermarket turn out better than this dish >>served on some limp bits of rocket leaves. The side of mixed veggies -with "batons of bacon" was quite unpleasant - because the fat on the bacon had not been rendered; while the veggies were only just edible. Real shame - considering the price, plus 15%!! for public hols. So, (with 2 glasses of wine), our evening was not worth $80.....

Food was great. One of the staff had a face mask on and was really good, the other staff serving food and taking orders didn't. This was disappointing as we still have covid active in NZ and we are at the orange traffic light setting.
