We got to try this cart at the Scottish festival. Ordering was a little confusing, the names of the plates were different on the hand written menu compared to the printed ones, but the service was quick. The ribs were pretty tender, but the spicy sauce is more tangy than spicy. The coleslaw was super bland, wished we had got the beans instead.
We passed this Food Truck that parks at the entrance to Meadowlark RV Park every time we went in and out. That's teasing look made us want to stop at the Oregon Smoke Shack! We stopped and checked it out. They have a good variety of smoked foods. The menu out front has all the choices except some special items at the window. My husband picked a pulled pork sandwich with sweet sauce and bbq beans and I picked the small slider meal with spicy sauce and Mac and Cheese. The food took no time and we got our meals. The pork is real and perfectly smoked-enough to be tasty yet not too smoky. I'm not a fan of smoke flavor but loved this flavor. The servings were generous. When you finish the sandwich, you will be full! We actually left most of the bun and ate the meat by itself to enjoy the meat flavors. The sandwich with sauce and one side was $9 and the slider was $5 with sauce and one side. They have a combo plate for $12.50 so you can try all the meats. I would definitely recommend the Oregon Smoke Shack! The food is real and real good. We will be back!
