The Oriental Express in Cleethorpes is a Chinese buffet-style establishment that also offers a selection of Indian and English dishes. The place has a relaxed ambiance with a lovely view of the boating lake. Although the interior design could use some upgrades, the overall cleanliness is acceptable. The restaurant provides excellent value for money, with an all-you-can-eat option for only £10, excluding drinks. The location is perfect for those who want to take a stroll around the lake after their meal. The Oriental Express has a few outdoor seating options, making it an ideal spot on a sunny day.
The menu at the Oriental Express offers a good variety of dishes, including Chinese classics such as sweet and sour chicken, chow mein, and dim sum. They also have Lincolnshire sausages, calamari, and pasta Bolognese for those who prefer English or Italian cuisine. Vegetarian options are available, such as cheese dippers and salads. The bar offers a selection of cocktails, soft drinks, and wines to complement the food. Customers can also enjoy unlimited ice cream for dessert.
Overall, the Oriental Express is a fine dining spot that serves tasty food at an affordable price. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is kid-friendly, with plenty of room for wheelchair accessibility. However, some customers have reported issues with food quality and cleanliness, so it's advisable to exercise caution when choosing dishes.

Never eaten at the Oriental Express only ever had drinks there as we go to Cleethorpes for the day with our dogs and sit outside, so cannot comment on the food, however what I can comment on is the pissed up fella that was singing his head off inside and outside the property and it was only 12:20pm!!! When you know that someone has had way too much to drink...STOP BLOODY SERVING THEM!!!!!
