This place is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Also, guests recommend this spot because of attractive prices. The divine decor and pleasant atmosphere let visitors feel relaxed here. But this restaurant hasn't got a high rating on the Trip site.

Saturday night Chinese meal food good but several larger groups turned up who hadn't prebooked but we're catered for, putting pressure on staff. Also problem with online booking which goes through to sister restaurant in Belper who sometimes forget to let the oriental palace know. Staff helpful and pleasant despite additional demand. Good value and freshly cooked. Best to book direct.
